About the Organizer:
Established in 1996 with a goal of providing excellence in technical education, G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (popularly known as GCET) is a premier engineering institute involved in teaching, development and R&D activities. GCET is a part of Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) family, a registered charitable trust established in 1945. Since its inception, the trust has been striving for the upliftment of rural society through education. Today CVM manages more than 50 educational institutions in Vallabh Vidyanagar and New Vallabh Vidyanagar. Previously affiliated to Sardar Patel University and Gujarat Technological University GCET is currently affiliated to CVM University. GCET was the first self-finance institute in the state of Gujarat. Moreover, it was the first engineering college in the country to start degree programs in Mechatronics and Information Technology. During its 24 years journey it has achieved several distinctions in technical education. GCET has been ranked 49 among the Top 100 private engineering colleges in the country as per the latest Times Engineering survey. It offers under-graduate degree (B. E.) programs in eight disciplines and post-graduate degree (M. E.) programs in nine disciplines.
